At Mashav Energia, we develop productive and competitive wind energy solutions.
The Potegowo wind farm will be located in the north-west part of the Pomorskie province and near the north-east border of the Zachodniopomorskie province – at a minimum distance of 9 kilometers from the Baltic Sea shoreline.
The total investment capacity is 220 MW. In total, 68 turbines with a 2.75 MW capacity and up to 110 meters high, and 13 turbines with 2.5 MW capacity and a height of 98 meters will be built. In both cases, three-axis, horizontal, upwind turbine with adjustable height and variable speed will be used.
The wind turbine system has been designed taking into account many issues that impact the environment. Among them, there are environmental noise standards, ecological corridors, protected nature and landscape, as well as bird migration routes and valuable plant habitats.
The construction is managed by Mashav Management, an afiliate of Mashav Energia. The company has highly qualified engineering and technical staff – the team is composed of former high-level managers from the energy industry who contribute their broad experience and networking skills to the project.
Our valued partners
The project operates under the current model of supporting renewable energy projects, based on auctions carried out by the Polish Energy Regulatory Office. The investment is financed by a consortium of five banks, including European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as the lead arranger, DNB Bank Polska S.A. as the agent, Bank Pekao S.A. as exclusive provider of VAT facility, mBank and Intesa Sanpaolo.
Additionally, five shareholders had contributed the required investment: Israel Infrastructure Fund as the lead arranger and controlling entity, Helios Energy Investment Fund, CME Holdings, Allied Infrastructure Ltd. and the Israeli Teacher and Kindergarten Teachers Pension Fund.

In our operations, we respect the local ecosystem, for the development of communities and economies
Wind turbines have a proven blade pitch angle adjustment system incorporating the latest improvements in the field of load control, low noise emission, efficient conversion of electricity, and reliable efficiency.
It is estimated that the construction of the Potegowo wind farm will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 514,000 tons per year. In addition to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the investment will also contribute to reducing combustion-related emissions.
Environmental noise standards (40 or 45 dB at night) will not be exceeded anywhere in the villages close to the project. The shadow flicker effect, despite the lack of legal regulations in this respect, will be voluntarily monitored by the company.
The wind turbine system has been designed in such a way as to by-pass bird migration routes, bird groupings, feeding or nesting areas.
The project was included in regional development plans and it will provide additional tax revenues for local communities, among other things, in the form annual property fees.
The implementation of the investment will bring other benefits for local communities, including the reconstruction of energy installations, new employment opportunities, and improvement of local road infrastructure. The land for the investment was obtained under lease contracts signed with land owners.
